Roger Allan George, 84, of Stephenville died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at his home. No services are planned at this time.

Roger was born November 22, 1937, in Gorman to Wade Preston and Kirk (Doggett) George. He graduated from DeLeon High School and attended Tarleton State University. He moved to Stephenville from DeLeon in 1956 and married Wanda Sue Walker in Odessa on May 22, 1959. Roger owned and operated Pigeon Road Sporting Goods for over 63 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda George of Stephenville; son, Allan Wade George of Stephenville; sister, Anna Marie Lindley and husband Charles of Clifton and many nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Wadena George McAlister.
