Texas State Shoot

July 1-6, 2025

Amarillo Gun Club will be hosting the 11th Annual Texas State Shoot July 1st thru 6th, 2025.

Presquad opens April 12th & closes June 28th. The cost is $5 per shooter regardless of the number of events entered.

This year Andrew Fryman and Ron Cunning will be inducted into the Texas Trapshooting Hall of Fame! Hall of Fame & State Team Awards Reception sponsors – Winchester and Amarillo Gun Club. Dinner Tickets are complementary to the first 75 available at registration. Attendance is open for cash bar and excludes dinner. Reception will be held at the Holiday Inn - Amarillo West Medical Center.

The annual TTA meeting will be held on Sunday July 6th at 8am. Auction items include a Negrini gun case provided by Negrini and a Cape Buffalo Gun Case provided by Steve Bradbury. • • Qualifications: Wednesday July 2nd—Saturday July 5th by 1PM - 25 targets from the 23 yard line - Top 5 and ties (broken by long run forward) advance to Finals.
  • Finals: Saturday July 5th - 10 mins after completion of Championship Singles - Posted at Gray’s Trailer - Shooters check in at Gray’s with gun to pick up score sheet.
  • Shells: Provide your own ATA legal shells.
  • Acceptable Guns include the following: Win Mod 12, Mod 21, Rem 31, 870 TB or TC, Ithaca, Parker, LC Smith and others by approval
