Bob Roberts PhotoBob Roberts died peacefully on December 26,2022 in San Antonio, Texas, in the loving presence of his wife, Joyce. Bob was a native of Wellman, Texas.

Bob is survived by his wife of 25 years, Colonel Joyce E. Carlson, USAF Ret., and by his son, Mike (Lindsey) of Midway, Arkansas, and daughter, La Juana Cope of Pasadena, Texas, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his brother, Roy (Glenda) of Victoria, Texas. He was predeceased by his parents, Floy and Wilson Roberts, and his son, Monte.

Bob was a graduate of Wellman High School, in the heart of West Texas, where, among other things, he was a member of the track team. Word was that nobody in Wellman could outrun Bob Roberts.
