We had really good targets and some of the nicest weather we have experienced in years! The scores were some of the highest we have seen in a decade and the total shooter count for the week was the highest we have had in over a decade! The target setting committee and Amarillo gun club worked tirelessly through this shoot to ensure we had fields throwing good targets, and the high scores reflect it.

We completed our largest shooter total on Sunday of the Texas State Shoot in at least 25 years and maybe ever since we have now included Doubles & Handicap on Sunday. AGC was able to provide 16 traps for this program which finished our shootoffs hours before dark. Great job everyone!

Thank you to all who made this shoot a tremendous success!

We repeated last years Hall of Fame banquet but added dinner service this year and our state team was announced along with our hall of fame inductees. We had a couple of venue changes that were largely out of our control but managed it well, and thanks to Amarillo Gun Club for going way beyond their initial sponsorship we were able to have this at a very classy venue. Thanks to our sponsors: Winchester and Amarillo Gun Club along with all the others who worked hard to put this together.
